I hope this long post makes up for my long absence 🙂 Scenic landscapes, tropical trees, wilderness, wild flowers, a variety of animals you constantly see here & there. What is also striking about Sri Lanka is how you don’t feel like a stranger at all, the way everyone greets you, smiles at you, asks you how you are. Yes, the simplicity of living. Except of course when you run into the few who ask you for a higher rate since that what all tourists everywhere go through? Sometimes it’s fun, sometimes innerving, but mostly you feel like a walking dollar bill 🙂 Enjoy this, and make sure you watch the home-made with love footage at the very bottom!
Sri Lanka’s beauty is beyond words. Makes one dissolve into nature. Amazingly breathtaking nature, feels like the trees are whispering ageless secrets to one another, blessing us with their timeless presence. The modesty that this brings out in me is beyond description. The silence and respect it imposes are beyond words.
Here it is again, the Indian Paintbrush, a wildflower we love!
The hot climate, the green colors & the wealthy vegetation & tea plantations bring peace to the eyes, and comfort to self. The Indian Ocean, and the gratitude for being there, in this godly land, divine in beauty. In Sri Lanka, even the clouds looks like angels & birds around here, scents of incense & burning goods invade your head… so do sunrises & sunsets 🙂

Meet the Sun. Trincomalee
You gaze out there amazed at the beautiful nature untouched and unharmed by the hand of man. There is nothing more beautiful than the wild & free animals, to see them in their elements, to see the peace they shine, the extraordinary energy special to them at their best. And how the big & wild animals always have a bird (or two) for a companion, truly magical. I caught myself wishing love & healing to all those fascinating animals who are in captivity, wishing a happy & fair turn of events.
What if the dogs roaming the streets were a rebirth of former human beings? Their gaze is always pensive, they stare into our eyes in such peace & connectivity. Whether in Thailand, or in Sri Lanka, people refer to them here as ‘the guardians of the temple’, and I for one find them perfect for the mission 🙂
Sri Lanka’s beauty is beyond words. Makes one want to dissolve into nature, and surrender to peace.
Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak)
The sun reveals all truths. The heat cleanses the body & soul. Warm clear waters revealing mesmerizing corals and magnificent underwater life. Spent 4 heavenly days in heavenly Trincomalee, with sweet people, who made me feel at home. To see the beauty our eyes beheld please watch the home-made footage Sri Lanka or the face of God, here.

I can’t help wonder how we got so far out in harming our nature, in my own country and worldwide. In Sri Lanka, people save their trees, when they need to make a road, or a residence, they unroot their trees to reposition and replant them, yes they do…! They don’t just sacrifice them for concrete. A harmonious coexistence between Nature & Man. Man cares and respects Mother Nature, and Nature takes care of her children by providing an abundance of food, water, and animal life. Almost everything there is Nature oriented. The houses, the cars, the services, facilities, essentials.

Gosh, I’ve missed this place! I hope you’ve all been well, since I haven’t checked in with you for a couple of weeks now. This is to welcome the new members of the page, and to share with you a sneak peek about the post coming up soon, from my trip to Sri Lanka. Yes, that’s why I’ve been silent & away 🙂
Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. Heaven
In truth everything and everyone
Is a shadow of The Beloved,
And our seeking is His seeking
And our words are His words…
We search for Him here and there,
while looking right at Him.
Sitting by His side, we ask:
“O Beloved, where is The Beloved?”
Stay tuned!
